What is Bali Tourist Levy?

This new tax, 'Bali's Tourism Levy,' starts on February 14, 2024. The income of the Levy (tourist tax) will be used to protect the nature of Bali, support the culture, improve the quality of service, safety, and convenience of tourists, preserve Bali's heritage, and make tourism sustainable and green.

The Bali tourist levy will boost Bali's economy to provide and help save Bali's tradition, art, local wisdom, and way of life.

Levy incomes will be a form of support towards the efforts to preserve nature. Continue to make various progressive efforts and innovations to improve Bali's quality of life and culture through preservation, conservation, and revitalization. Also, improve the quality of services, safety, and comfort of tourists by developing land, sea, and air infrastructure in an integrated and connected manner.
