After you pay the Bali Tourism Levy, you should receive a confirmation in the form of a tourism levy voucher via email. This voucher will include a QR code that you need to save on your smartphone or print out for scanning at checkpoints in Bali’s airport or sea ports upon your arrival.​

You are required to pay 34.30 USD online. This amount includes a government levy of 154,500 IDR (one hundred fifty-four thousand five hundred rupiah), equivalent to approximately 10 USD / 15 AUD / 9 EUR / 13 SGD per traveler, along with a service fee.

IMPORTANT

Starting from February 14, 2024, the Bali Provincial Government introduced the international Tourism Levy (Tourist Tax), making it compulsory for foreign visitors to pay the tourist levy once while traveling in Bali, Indonesia.

What is Bali Tourist Levy?

This new tax, ‘Bali’s Tourism Levy,’ starts on February 14, 2024. The income of the Levy (tourist tax) will be used to protect the nature of Bali, support the culture, improve the quality of service, safety, and convenience of tourists, preserve Bali’s heritage, and make tourism sustainable and green.

The Bali tourist levy will boost Bali’s economy to provide and help save Bali’s tradition, art, local wisdom, and way of life.

ELIGIBILITY

Foreign visitors who are traveling to Bali with a valid passport.
Holders of Golden visas and other visas need to apply through the site, but there is no need to pay the Bali Tourism Levy (Tourist Tax).

Exemptions are granted to: (a) Holders of diplomatic and official visas; (b) Crew members on vehicles; (c) Holder of Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit Card (КІТАР); (d) Holders of Family unification visas; (e) Holders of Student visas; They must only show their card to the officer.

Payment must be made cashless through electronic payment facilities. Payments can be made by accessing the BaliTax.co before entering Bali or at the payment counter, available at the Airport and Port in Bali.

Foreign tourists are encouraged to make online payments before departure to Bali to ease the procedure upon arrival at the Airport and Port in Bali.

The International Tourists will get proof of payment in the form of a Levy voucher with a QR Code that is sent via email.
